Static noises from monitor speakers when gaming
Hi everyone!

So I just built my pc about 2-3 weeks ago and I noticed that whenever I'm playing a game theres a static noise coming from my speakers (built in monitor). Also as the fps increases so does the static noise.
Even if I use my headphone the speakers still emit static. When I unplug the green audion cable or turn off my monitor the sound is gone. I don't think the speakers are broken because it works fine with my other pc. I also noticed that if I insert the green audio cable into the back audio jack on motherboard even just a little there will be the static sound.

I would really appreciate any feedback and advice. The static noise can be very high pitch and makes it hard for me to enjoy my game.

Thank you!

Interested to hear if that solved your problem. I have a brand new iMac 5k. I get static noises through any steam game even if I mute the game sounds or use headphones - loud white noise still comes through speaker. The static grows once the game starts, is constant, and reaches a level and then dies down slowly (to nothing) once I exit steam. (Also dies if I tab out of the game)

I have a amd radeon r9 280 gpu and I'm using a DVI cable. I have not solved the issue yet but I found that if I turn my moniter speakers low and turn the volume in my computer loud then the static becomes very quiet and sometimes goes away
