4k is basicly four 1080p monitors.
You have medium range graphics card and below medium range CPU with weak cores, stick with 1080p.
Honestly!? You didn't read any of my previous comments did you?
Firstly I know what 4K is, Secondly as I have said NUMEROUS times previously I have way over 60fps in "THE GAMES I PLAY", I don't play top of the line games. Thirdly this problem happens still when I set monitor to 1080p too so stop blaming my GPU's capabilities please.
I don't know much about frametime, can't find much info about it. I read that it is like the time it takes to render and display a frame, or something like that. Yours seems super high. Mine jumps between 2 and 8. Not sure what causes it, or how to fix it, since i never had any trouble with it.
I also read that normally for a 60hz monitor, frametime should be around 16.
Well I will look it up and see if I can find a reason for it. Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to me, it's very much appreciated.
I'm using two 128GB SSD's
1x Samsung SSD 840
1x OCZ-Agility3 SSD
i wonder though what is the reason behind the 'blurring' of the ping value with something else.
what is the latency of your 16gb memory modules?
put it to gaming mode or disable any frame blending effects on it

Found in conclusion.
I guess I'd better stick to my old monitor for gaming then
I know they were just trying to be helpful, but it does more harm than good to offer opinions backed up with apparent confidence on things one has only a passing knowledge of. I purchased a Philips "gaming 4k" monitor with horrific Input Lag. The shop claimed 1ms and at first refused to replace it until I got permission from Philips directly. I replaced it for the Asus 28 which has only 11ms of delay... I can now destroy anything in Elite Dangerous @3840x2160 res.
Anyway, if you are still looking, you might want to check the following website:

Once you try 4k gaming, it's hard to go back... It really is GORGEOUS!
