Laptop Overheating

Hello. I have a HP G62 Notebook PC with Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU and I am having some issues with the Overheating while playing CS:GO. Can someone help?

I do not recommend a middle class laptop for gaming and HP has a reputation with overheating.

Non-gaming laptops cooling is not designed for gaming. That's why.

Laptops still arent that great for csgo, but theres a couple things you can try:

- laptop cooler
- lower resolution
- set all detail to lowest settings

Use a strong vacuum cleaner, like a shop vac, and use it where the vents are and try to clean out your laptop. The small fans of laptops are easily clogged with dust, not much room in there for air to move around. If you use your laptop on your lap or on a blanket or something like that, the vents on the bottom aren't going to work so well. Use it on a hard surface or put something under it to increase air flow.

Maybe set settings to low ;) and use a notebookfan. I use one too. But i've never had a HP. So i cant tell you more.

my laptop needs to be cleaned out every few months of dust , or temps rise. but i take off the bottom panel of laptop and do a good cleaning.

I already have all Settings to low. The HP just overheats when the CPU is running +35%, wich it wouldn't suppose to happen, i think. I will get an ACER Gaming Laptop this Christmas, so hopefully this issue will be Over.

The Source engine is highly CPU intensive which will cause overheating issues.

You may want to set the internal fan to a higher RPM and you should buy a good cooling pad with high airflow.
