HDMI screen tearing help.
[Monitor 1] - [Monitor 2] - [Monitor 3] is how i set out monitor connections...
when i play all my games in nvidia surround i get horrible screen tearing on my middle monitor only, can someone please help me? i cant fix this and im not sure if its a driver issue :/ i get a solid 60fps if you are wondering of my system specs please look at my profile info. is anyone having the same issue? and also my surround connections are, [HDMI] - [DVI] - [HDMI]... and when i try [HDMI] - [DVI] - [DVI] one of my dvi screens are always black since driver 344.48, driver 344.16 worked fine, if this worked i think it would eliminate screen tearing on the middle monitor but it doesnt sadly unless someone has a fix, i am now on driver 344.75 and its still happening (black screen with dvi connected to second 980 with [HDMI - [DVI] - [DVI] connections and screen tearing on middle monitor with [HDMI] - [DVI] - [HDMI] connections)

Some may say 59 (like alot of Dell ones) but it's still doing 60Hz.

Check each one in Windows and make sure they are in fact set to the same res + refresh rate.

Tried installing that evga program, but for the life of me could not find any kind of settings button or any mention of pixel clock, monitors etc on it.

Just reverted back to 344.11 for now, problem solved. Just no far cry 4 for me =(

Did you read any instructions? lolol

At the bottom of evga precision window it says Precision X 16, on either side is an arrow, press the right arrow twice to get to the menu you need, choose Pixel Clock, set your monitors to same clock rate which should likely be 148mhz, (just highlight the box and type it in), that will set your refresh rate to 60hz. Don't forget to hit the small 'ok' button to set it.

Yeh i read multiple instructions and watched multiple video guides, i tried multiple versions of the program as well. For some reason it just doesnt work on this pc. Clicking on the arrows doesnt do anything lol. Doesnt matter though, i can play everything other than far cry glitch free now that ive gone to a older driver, and although im disappointed that nvidia hasnt fixed such a large problem with their drivers yet im sure they will sometime.

I think it should be said to, of the video guides i watched you couldn't change each monitors refresh rate separately when using surround anyway, it still shows up as 1 monitor in it.

I run 344.48 on 2 GTX 570s in SLI under 5760x1080 and I don't have any issues with games I play - granted I haven't played anything terribly new. Newest game is probably FarCry 3 (and I know that's not new, but it is for me). So, I'm not sure how usefuly my post is, but I figured I would share.

Also, I don't use HDMI, all monitors run off DVI.

Probably the best solution is to use matching cables if possible, got to be better than trying to get a software workaround.

on dual 980's, there are 2 dvi, 2 hdmi and 6 display ports (between both cards of course) and my monitors dont support display port.

I gather 59hz is a feature of hdmi and its compatibility with tv output. Have you considered displayport to dvi adapters? At least that would put all screens on matching outputs.

My screens are 60hz, but when I run in 2D Surround they are set to 59hz. All my screens connect via DVI. If I were to remove 2D Surround all my monitors run at 60hz and I can even OC them to 67 or 68hz if I wanted.
