Is is possible to use the Wii U Gamecube controller adapter?

I was wondering if it was possible to use the first party Gamecube adapter for Steam. I'm referring to the Wii U adapter they made for Smash Bros.

Yes, I'm aware that there's software made to use the adapter on PC, but I haven't been able to make it work on Steam.

I don't think so, although there are Gamecube controller adapters available for PC use.

It should be possible because in a game called Brawlhalla there is an option to adjust the GameCube controls via the adapter, just a matter of finding out how....

i solved this earlier this month actually i just needed to change the driver to make it pc compatible.

From what I heard the official GC to Wii U adapter might not work with PC games, except for the Dolphin Emulator

Use the third party driver

This driver support the gcn adaptor for wiiu and appear as a four gamepad , 1 gamepad per port
if the games don't support the normal gamepad and need xinput you can emulate it with x360ce

you need to do that with each game who not support other gamepad than xinput gamepad
