Tried that already. Updated drivers, installed the software from the site. Problem still persists :/
Hey mate, yer I started having this problem last night. Did you manage to fix the issue?
What make and model of mouse is this, what operating system are you using, and did it correspond to a Windows update?
The mouse is a Tt eSports THERON Gaming Mouse (Model: MO TRN006DT).
I see. And did it start malfunctioning directly after a Windows Update or Upgrade?
Im using Windows 10, but Im not 100% sure if it is corresponding to a Windows Update or not, it would seem so, but I updated to the newest Windows about 3 or 4 nights ago, and have only noticed the mouse button issue starting last nignt.
I noticed it when I was trying to find the Mouse Software tool (so that I could change to mouse light colours to match my new headphones, lol), I thought the Theron software was installed, but couldnt find it, so I downloaded the Tt eSPORTS Plus+ software, thinking that was it, which it wasnt, and the problems started happening after that.
I have since uninstalled the Tt eSPORTS Plus+ software, and installed the correct software (Tt eSPORTS THERON_AP V1.3.1), but the problems is still persisting. Have tried everything I can think of as far as modifying settings in the Theron software tool, checking to see if drivers are up to date, unplugging and plugging the mouse back in, restarting the PC etc etc. Nothing works.
The primary buttons are working, ie: left click, right click, and scroll wheel). The buttons that arent working are the 3 side buttons (2 on left, 1 on right) and the sensitivity buttons on top that change the DPI.
Sounds like software, then, rather than a hardware problem. Have you tried deleting the drivers and re-installing everything fresh?
I would do that by right clicking the mouse in Device Manager and selecting Uninstall Device?
I finally just figured out how to fix this issue.... You're going to laugh. Turn the mouse over... there's an unlock/lock button on the bottom side of the mouse. It needs to be switched to "unlock" for the side buttons to work!!! hahahaha
That takes the cake on useless features
