non-Reference 980 GPUs such as ASUS Strix and Gigabyte WindForce can output upwards of 280-watts under very high loads.
Given your tight case, I'd just get one that is not any larger then something a bit closer to reference measurements, such as most of the EVGA ones. As ones such as Strix and WindForce are typically taller and longer then most.

Also, you would want 600 Watts with 42 Amps on the 12V+ rail to power the beast and keep her stable. The Asus STRIX GTX 980 uses up to 300W (via 6-pin and 8-pin cable) for better overclocking purposes, compared to the standard GTX 980 using 165 W (via 2x 6-pins), which could survive off a good 500W PSU.
Sorry, it looks like a no go...
i'll wait until 980ti in the market and well see.
Seriously, change the case and PSU, or get a smaller, lesser power consuming GPU.
