Its likely slighly slower than a 680 but its fairly close. Its certainly not wroth 'upgrading' to unless you need something on 960s
Can someone explain to me why GTX680 a card that is almost 3 years ago is on par with gtx960?
Shouldn't GTX960 win because newer chipset, better core speed, and better memory speed?
Because GTX 680 was high-end card when it was released and GTX 960 is only medium range card. And GTX 680 has 256-bit memory interface.
x50 (low) , x60, x70 (mid) , x80, x90 (high).
GTX960 is much better when comparing FPS/watt to GTX680
If you want to buy new graphics card or to replace some old weak card then GTX 960 is better option then GTX 680 because of newer features and smaller energy draw.

They're up and down with in fractions of each other ^. In Dying light they tie.
There's no point in swapping it out.
But for the record, a 680 is SLIGHTLY and i mean SLIGHTLY better than a 960
But overall the 960 is better, especially in 4GB form.
gtx 960 is mid at best
when upgrading gpus, try to go better on the grade
to a 980 would be a huge improvement
