Will these GPUs work for me? (Upgrading from Rad HD 4650, slim case)
I have an Acer AX5900 and want to upgrade my graphics card from a Radeon HD 4650 to something better. I'm thinking either the Radeon HD 7750 or the Radeon R7 250. My problem is that my case is quite small (less than 10cm across), and I need to know if either GPU will physically fit? The PCI port on my board is located at the top, right near the ceiling of the case, so I only have about 2cm of space to fit the card. Would the HD 7750 and the R7 250 fit in this instance? Or would I have to remove dust coverings or something like that? It's hard because I can't seem to find reliable and specific dimensions for these cards.

just look for the low profile version of the r7 250, i think it may fit on your case

If the space is that tight, just measure within your case (be careful about ESD and such) and then buy the best card that can fit and also can work within the limits of your existing Power Supply.

Given your case, you must use a "Low Profile" form of GPU with that case layout, otherwise you'll need to change the case to make use of other cards.

GPUs such as these are available in Low-Profile Single-Slot cards.
- AMD R7 250
- NVIDIA GT 740
- NVIDIA GTX 750 and 750 Ti

Thanks man, seems okay. Will power be an issue? I'm running a 220 watt power supply, but seing how there's a 17 watt difference between the cards, would it affect the power supply?

By the way, I'm only running the HDD and DVD drives, plus the motherboard itself.

GTX 750 (or Ti version) low-profile would actually fair a bit better here; both in performance and overall least amount of power consumption. Better bang-for-buck.

As R7 250 CAN technically use upwards of around 75-watts when under max loads.
Where as GTX 750 / 750 Ti max out at roughly 60-watts
