XPS 8700 planning to upgrade to GTX 660Ti.
I was wondering if anyone else did this or know alot about pc configuration or both to help me. If anyone out there does can you tell me if it would fit and be compatible? Thanks.

what power supply does the dell pc have?

in an oem pc, you will need to upgrade the psu when you upgrade a gpu

660ti is 150w
a quality 450w psu will be enough for it

on the cheap (still decent quality)
cx500 is $45 shipped and $20 rebate ($25ar)

cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here

For what games though?
You have a i7-4790 + 8GB RAM; u should be fine.
Just need a good GPU. And if the Dell has any room for fans; add them to aid in overall cooling/airflow.
