zowie fk1 mouse problem

can anyone help me with my mouse problem it keeps freezing when its plugged in to one of the back usb ports but it works fine in the front usb3 port,so I know it's not the mouse,the mouse im using is zowie fk1 and before that normal zowiefk and microsoft intelli 1.0,when I check what driver is installed it says microsoft hid compliant,is there any way to fix this because my cable isnt long enough to fit in front usb port.

Just so you know the fk1 is driverless you just plug and play so I cant download any drivers from zowie website.

also when it freezes sometimes I can hear a winows noise/beep in the background like a notification sound,so could there be anything interfering with it?

It may be a bad USB connector on the back. Try to inspect it and clean it.

I tried it in 3 different connectors and I get the same problem.

try updating bios

worst case, disable windows auto driver updates, and remove the driver updates it did install

I updated the bios but it didnt fix the problem,also I clicked 'performance' on the bios tab and saved it, is this the best option? I changed back to optimised defaults now as my pc froze and it never done that before.

is an i5 4670k a 4th gen processor?

is there any options in bios or anything to change to make input lag as low as possible on mice usb slots? also which is the best usb port to use?

reset bios to default settings

overclcok manually, (raise the cpu multi, and voltage, keep everything else stock)
set the ram multi to the correct speed for your ram, and timigs for the ram

for best responce with usb keyboard/mouse, do not use its paired port for other devices
(2 ports run on each controller)

generally stacked, and paird with headers
and do not use them with a usb hub
k+m on same controller works fine

Every device you plug into a USB/SATA port has to negotiate for the connection parameters. I would look for new motherboard drivers on those USB ports.

yes

on the io panel, paired poarts are stacked directly on top of each other

the 4 on the left, top 2 and bottom 2
red ones, top 2 and bottom 2 (the bottom 1 is e-sata and usb 2.0, top has a bt dongle in it)
blue ones are usb 3.0 and paired

I found out it it worked in all other ports but not the back two usb3 ones,it works for a few seconds then freezes works again and freezes,I tested my old microsoft mouse and that works fine,also I uninstalled my front usb ports by mistake trying to fix this problem can anyone help me get them back? in device manager it says unknown device and it fails to install drivers.

I give up if I reinstall windows will this fix it?

I may have changed the polling rate on them with my old mouse cant remember now.
