http://www.walmart.com/ip /HP-Pavilion-500-223w-Desktop-PC-with-Intel-Core-i3-4130-Processor-8GB-Memory-1TB-Hard-Drive-and-Windows-8.1-Monitor-Not-Included/34083880 This is the computer i have, and i would like to know if it would be able to run the Beefy game we call Battlefield 4... even on lowest graphics would be okay... or would i need to buy a brand new graphics card to play it? If so, link to a good card?

Well, HP doesn't exactly make computers that are great for gaming. They just make cheaply built budget computers.
You only have intergrated graphics, no graphics card. So current games won't play too well on your computer. You only have a 300 watt power supply, so your best option without replacing that is a GTX 750 Ti.

This model is short and doesnt need extra power cables from power supply, fits better into HP nightmare cases then two fan models that also need additional power cable from PSU.

You *might* be able to get it to run at the very lowest of settings and reduced resolution. I think I've seen it run on worse. Obviously it's not officially supported though, your GPU is worse than the minimum. Also you could really benefit from a new GPU in general if you do much gaming at all. Gamers need GPUs, Intel HD 4400 is great for a office PC and very power efficient but it's not for gaming. Depending on what card you get you will very likely need a new PSU.

I have several options to suggest based on your budget:

EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB FTW ACX Video Card *runs on 300W PSU*. Check to make sure but I think your PSU is 300W so this is the only card that it will run without upgrade.

R9 270 & 500W 80 Plus Bronze PSU *should put you at top recommended spec* as per:

All depends what you can afford. They're all good cards that can put your PC into the same ballpark as the newest consoles. Buy the best if you can afford it and crank up the settings!
