Isn't there anything I can do to change that? Primary is grayed out and the only option I have is to make it a Logical Drive.
aoemi partition assistant professional edition can convert dynamic disk to basic disk.
i don't know though if the free edition (which is a distinct product from the professional version) has this feature.
if you want to check it out, mirror:
product webpage says it can convert dynamic disc, i don't know if it's true.
So apparently my harddrive was in the 'Hidden' state, and literally all I did was use the cmd diskpart command by:
cmd -> "diskpart" -> "list volume" -> "select volume 2" (my hdd) -> "attributes volume clear hidden"
Closed cmd, re-booted, it was showing up but as driver letter Z:. I opened disk management, changed the drive letter back to D:, re-booted. Problem solved. This took me a while to figure out and I had tried ALOT of different apps, almost got to the point I was about to buy a new harddrive... But never did I know that it was this simple.
I would like to thank you all for your help, take care. :)
