afaik,
gt + m = entry level nvidia mobile gpu; gt 720m-740m
gtx 850m-860m = mainstream nvidia mobile gpu
gtx 870m-880m = enthusiast mobile gpu (?) ; gtx 970m-980m
I refer to notebookcheck.net for notebook performance, they've been around a while and have a lot of info. Sometimes they're a little conservative on performance data.

I couldn't find any info on NVIDIA GT 850M 2GB PCIe Video, maybe it's a typo, or a lesser
version of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M,

Scroll down for Gaming Performance, bit past halfway.
They rank NVIDIA GTX 850M at #51 on the currently available notebook gpu list, and show most 2014 games are playable @ 30+ fps, 1366x768 resolution, at medium settings.
Depends on how much you want to play a game, and with how much eye candy.
