Although as long Im not from US, have no clue how these mail-in-rebates work.
Please tell me where to buy a new GTX 750 Ti inside 100USD, I get right on spot 10 of them.
With that budget even the non-Ti version is barely manageable.
If u wanna be cheap about it; just go on Ebay.
The lowest price i could find for that one is $125.99. It needs to be under $100 if possible. it doesnt have to be too powerful. just a little better than the x600. really all i need is something with a shader 3.
Can I just be cheap and settle for a Radeon R5 230?

And is only about 20% slower than a gtx750ti

Seriously, look on Ebay, even if u have to bid on it. You can get them cheaper.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR3.TRC0.A0.H0.Xgtx+750+ti+2gb&_nkw=gtx+750+ti+2gb
You can afford a R7 250.
Cheapest R7 250
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/his-video-card-h250fs2g
Newegg $79.99 -$20.00 +FREE s/h $59.99
$20.00 mail-in rebate
OR 2nd cheapest R7 250
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-video-card-r7250aclf4
Newegg $89.99 -$20.00 +FREE s/h $69.99
$20.00 mail-in rebate
Or if you can stretch the budget just a little:
MSI Radeon R7 260 1GB Video Card
Corsair Builder 430W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dBPDwP
Base Total: $139.98
Mail-in Rebates: -$40.00
Shipping: $2.99
Total: $102.97
Because the R7 260 is a huge improvement over the 250, near double the performance.
Other than that you can look for a GPU taking 75w or less 2nd hand on ebay or something. Probably like a HD 7750 (basically same as R7 250) or something.
if its an oem or poor quality (thermaltake/coolermaster/diablotek ect..) treat it like a200-250w psu and replace it when upgrading the gpu
Already the R7 250 will be noticably faster. And even there get a DDR5 version and not the cheaper DDR3! The difference is insane - 28.8 GB/s DDR3 vs 73.6 GB/s GDDR5.

That is amazing. even on a 250w, it ran fine. Im definitely going to buy it as long as im absolutely sure of its compatibilty with my desktop. It is pretty old but it has always been able to play games very well with the x600. I just found an ATI All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro in my computer room.. Just thought i'd share that
