is cpu multi and vcore enough for overclocking
ive got the g3258 chip, had it running but unfortunately having to wait for a replacemnt psu..

had it to 4.4ghz with 1.2vcore..

but are these two enough to change for a good overclock, as you can tell im a noob to ocing, but reading various guides, forums..am i right in thinking cache ratio should be 1:1??

also vrin and the vrin cache, can this be left or would it be ideal to change these,

VCORE should be left on AUTO or DEFAULT; only change if the clock changes become unstable.

Pentium G3258 has an unlocked Multiplier, so yes all u should need to do is UP the Multi.
Do not change the FSB, that would effect your DRAM clock.

Look for DRAM / XMP settings and lock in the DRAM Profile to XMP; that will ensure the correct RAM settings are applied.

AUTO is really best. In some cases u can actually turn it down.

Overall AUTO is best because the clocks can fluctuate depending on usage, thus VCORE left on AUTO is best so that can properly fluctuate as well.

G3258 is very efficient, so unless u go really high clocking, VCORE on default should be just fine. Intel OC = disable CPU Options; C1E (and Turbo, but this CPU does not have Turbo)
