Emulate a ps3 controller for the Steam Link?
I play some games with a ps3 controller emulate as a Xbox controller. Does anyone know if this trick will work with the Steam Link? Or if there is a other way to use a playstation controller with it?

No, given the details Valve has specified thus far, controllers such as PS3/PS4 won't work on Steam Link. And there is no software u can change or install, since Steam Link is not any kind of a Steam Machine or PC. It merely works in a similar manner to say; Google Chromecast or Roku, but for Steam Games / Big Picture Mode.
That's what i thought. But you think it can be possible with a Steam Machine to install a software for that? Even if it's pretty expensive just for a controller. Just curious.
That depends on what the "Steam Machine" u purchase comes with.
There are going to be so many to choose from when they really start pumping those things out the door.

Now the ones so far on Steam are:
- Alienware: Alpha[www.gamestop.com]
- CyberPowerPC / Syber Gaming: Steam Machine X / P / I[www.sybergaming.com]
- Origin: Omega
- Digital Storm: Eclipse

Some will have options, such as choice of SteamOS or WinOS. Some will come most likely with one OS or the other by default. So again, depends on the Brand/Model.

I learn something. Thanks for sharing.
If un-sure, and don't already have an Xbox360 or XboxOne type; then I'd wait until release, then visit a local store that will sell this kind of hardware, like BestBuy or GameStop and see how the Steam Controller feels in-hand.
Definitely wants to hold the controller in my hand before buying.
