980 Ti is already faster than a TitanX; it just has the 6GB VRAM is all; if that's a Con.
will i really see the difference between displayport and vga? i'm 2,5 meter away from my TV!
Yes:
VGA = Analog signal, electrical noise interference, lower quality, less bandwidth over cable length.
VGA Adapter = Weakens the screen quality even more, tends to break a lot of the time. Throw them away!
You really want DisplayPort, DVI-D (Duel Link), or HDMI 1.4+ for faster, stable, digital signal. You will notice the difference hugely on high-end graphic cards (looks much better, sharper, better colours, and less damaging to the eyes).

thanks, well that's probably gonna be Hdmi then, since there's very few tv out there with display port (but i'll try to find one since it seems to be the best to connect to a PC!)
Get a gaming pc monitor, then use streaming TV services on that instead. I don't know what type of TV channels you got however, so will depend on what you're after.
Services that might cost: Hulu, Fancast, Netflix, Joost, TV on Demand, etc.
Or a TV Tuner (additional hardware installed in the PC or via USB), if you want Free to Air - then setup Windows Media Center or similar to make the entire PC an entertainment system.
Well something to consider at least.

Seriously high-end gaming monitors (that will make a GTX 980 output truely amazing and smooth), if you can afford...
BenQ Gaming Monitors (1080p - 1ms response - 144Hz refresh - TN panel):

XL = FPS gaming
RL = RTS gaming
Asus VG248QE (1080p - 1ms response - 144Hz refresh - TN panel):

You will be shocked at the difference. But yeah, price tag too.
GTX 980 Ti - Actually sits nicely inbetween the GTX 980 and Titan X performance wise, but on top price wise. It's still a better purchase. The Titan X price (at least here anyways) is seriously marked up and will likely get future price slashes (it has already had a couple). Two GTX 980 in SLI will outperform a single Titan X, and at a cheaper price tag. A single GTX 980Ti will give you about 20% more gain over the single GTX 980, therefore price wise, it's currently a better option if you can afford it - comparing the price change between GTX 970. Still the GTX 970 actually gets the most performance to cost ratio, but I would stay that limits you to 1080p resolutions, even though it can handle 1440p, I wouldn't recommend it when it comes to that resolution or higher.
Well, i don't watch "tv", i just play console and PC on it, like i said, i'm 2,5m away from it, and having all my thing on a single monitor is way simpler for me... well i could still just buy a gaming PC monitor and put it the table in front of my couch just for PC games but.... i don't know, i'll think about it, and i didn't really noticed the input lag honestly
Also, you won't really want speakers builtin a pc monitor (they are rubbish on pc monitors), instead you would want to redirect audio, if possible to the computer speakers, soundbar, or a surround sound system, etc.
^ This - The graphic card generates very high-end, but the monitor itself is the output of it all. They must be able to support each other to keep up and reach amazing quality, without simply wasting it!
I also personally highly recommend the BenQ XL series for some serious gaming.
