Make sure the surface you're using the mouse on is clean. A dirty surface and even some mousepads can cause feedback issues. You could always try just using the mouse on a sheet of white printer paper for a while and see if the problem continues or not.

Uses a couch as a mouse pad and wonders why it's not working right..... Smh

I had a similar issue with my Razar Naga 2014. Things worked well for about a month and soon I had jerky responses and hang ups with the mouse. The mouse worked just fine on white paper, so I cleaned my mousepad and no issues since.
