Don't change the bus speed, as that will affect the RAM Freq
Just leave the VCore on Auto at first and up the Multiplier slightly.
When u get in Windows, don't run games yet, run a monitor app (like HWMonitor) and then stress the CPU in a test (like Prime95 or IntelBurnTest). Run test for at least 10 mins and see how hot it gets up too. If the system locks up at any point and it's not due to overheating, then that should be a sign that the OC is unstable.
U will want to disable any Turbo or AMD Cool & Quiet in BIOS too for OC purposes.
Would you suggest I do the OC in the bios or amd overdrive?
Also do you have a custom CPU cooler?
Cause it may be that your chip is running too hot for your stock cooler. Overclocking on a stock cooler is not advised. Overheating can break your chip but if you are lucky it will throttle.
Another factor might be your motherboard. What motherboard do you have? If it is a cheap board with few VRM it is possible it could be throttling there also.
Another question, are you overclocking the CPU or GPU or both?
Just my cpu I have a dedicated gpu
mother boardis asus a78m-a
That motherboard is also not great for overclocking but it should be able to stand up to a bit.
I recommend above all that you do NOT adjust the voltage without a custom cooler.
You can get a reasonable custom cooler for pretty cheap, $20~to $30~ should set you up with pretty much the best cooling your APU should need on that motherboard.
You might find that without adjusting the voltage you are able to turn DOWN the GPU clock and thus have a little power spare to turn up the CPU clock. They run on the same shared power after all so turning down one leaves spare power for the other. That works similarly with heat since again they both share the same package and TDP. If you turn down the GPU the CPU can safely generate a little more heat and still stay cool on the stock cooler.
However if you turn down the GPU recall that this is a APU and the GPU is supposed to aid the CPU for supported tasks so this function will be reduced proportionate to the reduction in GPU power.
Again the best way is to just get a custom cooler.
If you are in the USA this is the cheapest reasonable for your setup:
Cooler Master Hyper T4 70.0 CFM Rifle Bearing CPU Cooler

Newegg $24.99 -$10.00 +FREE s/h In stock $14.99
$10.00 mail-in rebate
I mean your APU can certainly handle a better cooler but I'm not sure if your motherboard would survive overclocking as much as a better cooler would allow.
Be careful not to break your A10-7850K, it's a very nice and relively pricey and nearly brand new part. Use the proper gear when overclocking. Get a cooler.
That cooler is fairly large, if you need a low profile cooler those cost a little more for similar performance but they do exist. Also a watercooler would work and those start at about $50.
if its a weak vrm config, it will throttle before the cpu has a chance to get warm
and when it throttles it will be way under the stock speed for the cpu

edit:
its asus a78m-a, 4+1 vrm config without heatsinks

do not overclock without vrm cooling
Sure for more major overclocking new board or VRM cooling are the way to go.
