Replacement Fan for Tower?
So my 200mm top fan in my Cooler Master Storm Trooper recently started making some wierd "revving" noise every now and again, and it stops when I restart the fan, but evetually comes back. I need to buy a replacement fan for my case, but I don't know if I need to specific fan, or will any 200mm fan do?

Yea those ones cases ship with are usually Sleeve Bearing, and as such, won't last very long.

Do you want the replacement to be your standard fan (usually all black) or you want an LED color type of fan?

excellent case fans, poor for cooler/rads

Yes ^ good bang for buck if u need to add to your case cooling / airflow roughly as cheap as possible, but despite the pricing are still decent fans. But they are not variable RPMs, they are quite silent being around/under 20db @ 1200rpm. Where as the CM-120mm that ship with Hyper212 PLUS and EVO are variable RPMs, maxing out @ around 2000rpm / 28-30db

For 200mm fan, ones from BitFenix and NZXT are worth it, given they offer models which have Ball Bearing or "Hydro" Bearing instead of the cheap Sleeve Bearing which do not last long at all.

What type of "bearing" are the fans in this link? Are they sleeve as well?

The Phanteks / NZXT / Bitfenix 200mm fans are pretty decent.

sleeve bearings will be ok if you oil them around once-twice a year
