logitech g27 steering wheel not responding.

It never spinned when I plugged it in but the pedals and shifter work so why doesn't the wheel? Wheel won't turn in game or in the calibration thing. I have windows 8.1 64bit.

i think this is something a good burning will solve... round it up via its cables, around a nice wooden dowel... prop that dowel vertically, surrounded by rocks, and douse it in gasoline. be sure to film it and place it on youtube with a catchy title, and several trending meta tags... also ensure this video is set to make advertisement money... ... ensure you yell at variable volumes while explaining what you're doing physically, and flap your arms a lot.. .(it seems to be the winning formula). . . profit... buy a wheel recommended for 'project cars.' :)

my dog unplugged g29 had tech on the line if wheel green light is not solid it isnt pluggr

Input of steering-wheels, or any other periphery is BROKEN on modern Steam/Windows 10/11-input in general.

So it´s a case of the game if it will work or not. Some games can still work. Others are broken and there is no solution to fix it (since it´s a case of insufficient hardware).

Playstation 4, 4 Pro, 5 and Xbox Series S/X or normal Xbox/S, also have his issue: Not working periphery such as contro-wheels or pedals is typical for modern games.

Try looking in settings - bluetooth & devices - more devices and printer setting.

See if your wheel is registering as windows generic device, if so you can unplug and plug it back in to see if the drivers register it as G27.

Also are your driver up to date as win 8.1 does not get any support now. You could also try install a previous version drivers that you know worked.
