I can see ////// Lines Running Through My Monitor Such as When im in my steam library I can see them so basically i can see them on some colored Pages Such as on this Discussion page i cant. There Not Staying still they Are Moving From top to bottom or Bottom to top i cant Tell. The monitor I have is a Acer V173 1280 x 1024 , Also Before u say Return It I am Far out of my warranty Time. Thanks In advance

what gpu?

are you using vga?
could be a bad/damaged cable

try a different monitor or cable if you have one

Not Sure what Cable Or Port It is But My GPU Is a Intel G45 Express Chipset Ive had it for 4 Years or so now And i don't have another cable

check the cable, make sure its secure on both ends

and check the refresh rate on the gpu
right click on desktop -> screen res -> advanced settings -> monitor tab -> refresh rate
set it to 60

It is already On 60 I turned It to 75 And Seemed to fix it But It cuts the screen In half And Leaves A black Edge to The Left of the screen Hiding My steam X Button and the cable seems to Be secure its tight on both ends

try 59hz or a different cable

if that fails, the monitor is from 2009, it might be time for a new one
it may have bad caps or control board issues

I cant turn It down any lower than 60 So i might just buy a new Cable

I turned It Up to 75 And My Res Down To 1280x960 And it fixed It Though I suffer From A small Black Line on The top Of my screen and Less Clear Picture (My eyes are adjusting) And the task bar seems to be Going of the screen a little But i doesn't Seem to affect Anything So I guess This will work For Now Until I get My new PC Parts And Monitor If u have any way To fix the black Bar on the top of my screen or the task bar going slightly of screen i would Appreciate it.
