with no pci-e x16 slot you cannot add a good enough gaming gpu

and many dell server cases will not fit a gpu over 9in long

if the rest of the spes are like this

do not get it for gaming

I'm not sure many if any games are coded for two CPUs at all. It will ikely only see one as a primary CPU so...also just because it's a xeon, if the speed in MHz doesn't meet minimum specs for a game, it might not run the game. Also verify that the PCI slot is large (wide) enough to support good card. Most good cards occupy double the physical space when connected to the PCI channel. And also what level of PCI it supports for the card, whether its PCI, PCI-X, or PCIe

thats an old xeon, based on core2 cpus

3ghz on those is nowhere near as fast as 3ghz on an 115x cpu/board
dual socket with 2x dual core cpus is the same as 4 cores, the os will use it like its a current quad
but its core performance is still very low for gaming

yea i now thats why i am thinkign in put dual quad core same as 8 cores hopping with that can run smoot

more cores will not help with core performance

you need a cpu that runs faster

the g3258 is a killer cpu thats cheap and great for gaming
http://www.anandtech.com/show/8232/overclockable-pentium-anniversary-edition-review-the-intel-pentium-g3258-ae/4

or i5 4460 is around $100 more
Yes exactly, I don't think there are too many if any games out there that will see both processors and give you a stacked performance. The game will likely chose one CPU as a primary and that needs to meet the min speeds for games you plan to play.
