Low-End PSU Comparison

I currently own a really cheap low-end Power Supply called Aerocool AP-PRO450W, and due to issues with my R9 270 dropping out, freezing, and inconsistent 12V Power through the yellow cables, I decided to upgrade and buy a Corsair VS550 550W Power Supply. How much gain, other than wattage will I be maing from uphggrading this power supply?

xfx 550w is alot better for not much more

I'm using a higher powered Corsair CX750M and its great, Corsair should be fine

i may be wrong but i have a corsair 430cx and there not made for gaming until you get to your one the 750m so im looking to change in the next few months.
So id go with either that 750m by corsair ot that xfx550 thats linked good luck

the CX series is a second tier lower end Corsair 80 Plus Bronze Certified actually. They come in 430, 500, 600, 750, and 850W sized PSUs. Still great PSUs for the money. Another good one for the money is Newegg's Rosewill Modular design, great bang for buck PSUs. I think my sons PSU was a Rosewill Capstone 1000W 80 Plus Gold for around 120 bux.

Seriously, Corsair low end ones are junk. Look at the Corsair ones that say "All Japanese Capacitors" those are the only real good PSUs they offer. Otherwise, skip em
