Gaming pc advice
Hey everybody,

I am not new to computer gaming, but I am new to purchasing a gaming PC. I'm not sure if I'm skilled enough to build my own and I was wondering which ones out there were worth buying. I was looking at MSI desktops and I was wondering if they were any good. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Advice for first time builder
Hello everybody, I am a long time gamer and I have made the decision to get a new computer. Instead of purchasing a whole one, I would like to build one from scratch, but I am a bit inexperienced in this field. I was hoping that someone could give me some tips and point me in the right direction. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Thanks! I think I can do with about $800 or so. Also I live near Philadelphia and there is a Microcenter there so I will check that out for sure.

You are truly amazing sir. This is all I need in order to build?
That's all you need, yeah. Can go cheaper on CPU and mobo if you're not overclocking. Might want to add a boot SSD if you can squeeze a bit more into your budget. Pick out a case you actually like and seems good to build on. I would also go for a modular or semi-modular power supply just so you have less cable clutter to work with.

Add 15% to whatever price you come up with. Most builds the builder never considers, CPU cooler, Fans, RAM coolers enough HHD/SSD for 10 games, new cable to connect to monitor if upgrading to Display port. There are many more items that go into building a PC then MOBO, CPU,PSU and GPU... Most of my builds run 3K just did my x99/DDR4 build last weekend. Have fun Dude...its a rush turning it on the 1st time
