My laptop keeps crashing when i play games.

My laptop keeps crashing when i play games, but, it's not overheating. Every game i play crashes execpt Minecraft or Roblox. They run smooth as butter, but they crash after a minute of playing.
My specs are:
Lenovo G580
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Intel HD Graphics 4000 and NVIDIA GeForce 630M
Intel Core i3-3110m
2.40GHz
4GB

Do you have the Superfish malware on your laptop? It's a recent known issue with Lenovo Laptops. Here's an article about removing it

You might want to consider upgrading your memory to 8GB if possible and a SSD drive will do wonders as well.

Make sure you have the latest drivers for the GeForce.

I'm not familiar with your laptop at all, is there any chance you need to disable the Intel Graphics to get the full potential of the Geforce graphics? Just a thought if it's an option or possibility at all.

Yea 8GB and SSD are a must; it will be a nigh/day difference to any laptop when u do this.

Monitor CPU/GPU temps, crashing during games in laptops is usually overheating.

On top of that, get real temp, it's free (last time I checked) and tells temp of each core

Another idea, if you're computer savvy (not sure if this will work or is possible on your laptop).
Try going to Device Manager and disabling the onboard graphics. This should force it to use the GeForce capabilities instead.
Again, I'm not familiar with this laptop so look it up or get some savvy friend to do it for you.

4GB should still be plenty... It would not cause crashing.

That isn't possible. since on my laptop, you need Intel HD Graphics so NVIDIA graphics can run.
