Using Steam on Windows with an ext4 partition
Hello guys,
I have a dual boot Linux/Windows and most of my disk space is on a "Documents" partition, available to both of my operating systems. I chose to format it in ext4 and installed the necessary drivers on Windows so that it is readable.
I would like to use Steam on Windows and not on Linux, and to store my games on that ext4 partition. Is it possible? Will it be handled fine, has somebody ever tired to do this?
Thank you!

Nope, not going to happen.
You might as well resize the partition and make a new NTFS partition for games in Windows.

Yeah I thought about doing that but I tried it anyways with the ext4 partition and guess what, it does work. I was able to play FEZ without any problem... but it would be awesome if somebody had any problems with this kind of setup, or is able to confirm that it will work fine on the long run!

Shouldn't be of any issue. U just need NTFS for a Windows Partition, that's it. Having Steam and Games on your EXT4 partition has nothing to do with Windows.
