The problem is that those gaming desktops are totally overpriced if you look at the parts.

True, but that's what happens when they have to factor in labor costs.
It's always cheaper to build it yourself because you're not factoring in costs like SG&A, labor, insurance costs of all sorts, so on and so forth.
Actually, that's a decent deal. Especially since you get a keyboard and mouse.
