In Windows, right click an empty desktop area and click on Screen Resolution. Then click the Detect button to ensure any actively connected displays are shown there. And configure each as needed. If your desktop is showing on one screen and not the other, select "Duplicate" for the multi-screen option in Screen Resolution section; which will then allow showing the same image across multiple displays. Once you are able to see your desktop on your secondary display, u can disconnect the primary display if that is your intension here. If the display does not show up in Windows, shutdown the system, connect any displays u wish, power them on, select the correct input, then power the system back on.
Are u able to see the TV device being detects as Display #2 in Screen Resolution?
Did u select a resolution & refresh rate for this TV device, as per what it's specs allow for?
Some TVs may only support 24 or 30 Hz max and thus u may need to apply that in Windows for it to display a picture.
Try the "Extend" option for Display #2 (TV)
With your display mode changed to Extend, you should then be able to change Res & Refresh for each display, independant of one another.
Or try this: shut down the system so it powers off; disconnect the Monitor and only connect the TV. Then power on the system.
If you have a system that has an onboard GPU (display ports of any kind on the motherboard i/o) please ensure u are connecting any displays to your dedicated GPU card (750 Ti).
Be careful with HDMI cables of any kind, if u bend them too much on the ends, it can easily break/sever the wire connections within the cable. Avoid crimps and/or any forceable tight bends.
