How many watts needed for GTX 780 SLI?
hi,so i would like to upgrade my pc to GTX 780 SLI but i don't know how many watts it needed,my current power supply is 650W,is that enough or should i upgrade my PSU?

You will need a quality 850 watt psu for sli.

If you look at the oficial specifications here: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-780/specifications

The minimum recommended PSU is 600W for one card and a single GTX 780 can draw 250W.

So 850W would be my guess for a stable system.

You *may* be able to use a 750 "GOLD" PSU, but as Hatman said 850w would be prefered. The new 900 series is much, much better for power draw and I have seen 2 x 970's in SLI with only a 700w PSU.

my GTX 780 is fairly new ,bought it a couple of months ago so i think it would be a waste of money to get 2 GTX 970 ,but i might rethink about that,thanks
