Does anyone know if XFX still makes motherboards?
I want to build a new entire PC gaming rig with all XFX brand name parts.
I know they just released a new XFX bravo case and they always carried many computer components but I don’t see any new motherboards from them.. A few years ago they did sell them.
What happened to that?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure... I know that I certainly have not heard of XFX manufacturing motherboards, so perhaps not.

I haven't heard of anything new from them. Doesn't seem to say anything about motherboards on their site, either. Pretty sure they're out of that part of the industry.

You could look around on ebay for a used motherboard but you're not likely to find anything with a recent socket type.

You should definitely consider their PSUs and graphic cards, but I'm pretty certain they don't make motherboards.
Also, I was curious and checked my parts list, and noticed every single component is from a different brand. Only if I include peripherals do I get both my motherboard and monitor to be both from ASUS. Never noticed that before.

Hey, I will sell you mine, Pre Build:

Q9650
XFX 750i with 8GB
XFX 295GTX
XFX 8800GT (PhysX)
OZC 120GB SSD
WD 500GB Black
Antec 900watt High Current Gamer

I am just kidding, this is my old PC.

XFX mainly make GPU for AMD/ATI and PSU. They do not make motherboards any more, nor do they make NVidia GPUs any more.

Check you technical knowledge, they made several motherboards, Pre 2010, 680i, 680i LT, 750i, 780i, 790i, 610i (7050) and a few other boards with NVidia chipset. (Been a system builder for over 12 years) I was totally XFX buyer unti they broke ties with NVidia.

I now recommend ASUS boards, as they carry a 3 year warranty. eVGA is good too, but a bit more expensive.

Ah thats sad to hear, I always liked their products because they are solid quality. It would be awesome if they made more again. I would make my next rig all XFX.

*sigh* Ok well no they do not make motherboards anymore, as they lost the NVIDIA partnership once XFX starting helping to provide ATI/AMD Radeon GPUs.

From what I see, XFX only tried their hand at a few NVIDIA nForce based boards. Something that has been stricken from the market anyways.
