Best GraphicsCard for AMD FX-6100
Hey guys, i hope you might be able to help me a bit. I really need a new GC since the one i currently own is the GTX-650 and out of date since this year ~. Worked fine till that tho.

Got an Asus M5 A97 R2.0 (MOBO)
1TB (splitted) HD
500GB HD
8GB RAM

I might also buy a new PSO, my last one went down since i did something wrong, got a cheap version atm. Don't wan't to risk my PC to die. (No 1000W or sth~ pls... i do have 500 since 5 years)

Thanks for help :)!

R9 270 if it fits your budget @$150~ or more. R7 260X if budget is lower @ $100~ or more. A better R9 series card than the R9 270 would also be good but might require better PSU depending what yours is. R9 285 or GTX 970 and 980 are all nice high end cards that are power efficient and that would go good with your CPU and are under 200w but may require more than one 6 pin PCIe connector.

Your PSU will require one 6 pin connector for either R7 260X or R9 270 GPU card. Beyond that it will be more PCIe connectors 6 pin or 6+2 (8) pin and possibly need more wattage than 500w also.

I was thinking about 550W PSU too, or is that still too weak?
R9 280X is also something i thought about.

Got a budget of about 400€. For PSU and Graphics :).
R9 270X is a bit too weak for me i think. It's an amazing low price card, but i've got a bit of money so.. :)
on an amd build, and want to run any single gpu, get a quality 600w psu

what brand/model power supply do you have?

AMD CPU + AMD GPU - I would go with a 600W if you plan to keep a single card.
The EVGA 600B is rather cheap and performs well, one of my best friends just got one and works great. Efficient and silent.
I have actually no idea what brand my PSU is, it's not bad, but it was fairly cheap (35€ i guess).
And I've only got it since my old one destroyed itself after a manual fail.
And with a new card, i want a new, safe PSU too :) I don't want to risk all of my hardware.

Any GraphicCard-Suggestions? :) AMD R9 280x? Which version?

Got 2x120mm fans, front and back.
The chip will be the same, I suggest to take the one with the better and more silent cooling solutions, preferably the 2 fan versions as long with 3 they are rather long. I have good experience with the Twinfrozr from MSI and DirectCU II from ASUS.
if your going ot spend $200+ on a gpu, get a quality power supply

the evga 600b (hec or fsp) is good $60 shipped and $20 rebate

but the xfx 650w (seasonic) is much better $75+shippng and $20 rebate

I'd suggest go for R9 280X or R9 285 or wait for GTX 970 (launched in North America can't find on Deutchsland PC Part Picker) and get that instead.

R9 280X 3GB & 650w 80 Plus Gold fully modular PSU:
http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/c9HsMp
Base Total: €312.22
Shipping: €4.99
Total: €317.21

R9 285 2GB & 650w 80 Plus Gold fully modular PSU:

Total: €324.57

Alternative option is to wait for the GTX 970 and buy that. Might be worth it since it's very power efficient and has only a 145w TDP compared to the R9 280X at 250w or the R9 285 at 190w.

Also whatever you get make sure the card fits the case.
