Your PSU will require one 6 pin connector for either R7 260X or R9 270 GPU card. Beyond that it will be more PCIe connectors 6 pin or 6+2 (8) pin and possibly need more wattage than 500w also.
R9 280X is also something i thought about.
Got a budget of about 400€. For PSU and Graphics :).
R9 270X is a bit too weak for me i think. It's an amazing low price card, but i've got a bit of money so.. :)
what brand/model power supply do you have?
The EVGA 600B is rather cheap and performs well, one of my best friends just got one and works great. Efficient and silent.
And I've only got it since my old one destroyed itself after a manual fail.
And with a new card, i want a new, safe PSU too :) I don't want to risk all of my hardware.
Any GraphicCard-Suggestions? :) AMD R9 280x? Which version?
Got 2x120mm fans, front and back.
the evga 600b (hec or fsp) is good $60 shipped and $20 rebate

but the xfx 650w (seasonic) is much better $75+shippng and $20 rebate

Alternative option is to wait for the GTX 970 and buy that. Might be worth it since it's very power efficient and has only a 145w TDP compared to the R9 280X at 250w or the R9 285 at 190w.
Also whatever you get make sure the card fits the case.
