This skin is very used, and the website (customize.org) is probably the best resource for Rainmeter skins.

It's really easy to use, you can even change the variables and tweak some skin to be just like you want it.
One thing I really miss about 7.
I love this program.
But I run a real minimal setup. Just a clock/date, outside tempeture forecast, CPU & Mem usage and a speedfan widget.
Why don't you move your icons to a skin that organizes them? Or get them off the desktop?
How many icons do you have? Are they files? If they're files they should get organized into folders for proper storage and organization.
