Computer uptime (task manager)?
Hello, I was looking at my task manager in the performance tab and noticed my computers uptime is 24 hours, yet my computer has been turned off 2 times since then. I turned off my computer and turned it back on and the up time didn't reset. The only thing that makes it reset is if I unplug my computer from the wall.

What's causing this and how do I fix it? And since the up time is wrong, does that mean even my computer is shut off normally (which it completely goes off like all other computers do) is it actually still on?

I guess it doesnt actually turn off. One of the pc's in my house also does a similar thing. I think it's some sort of sleep mode. The fans turn off and it doesnt make any noise like it was off, but it still remains powered and turns back on super fast, probably because it keeps the windows and programs loaded in the RAM.

I got it fixed, thank you though. The problem is during the last windows update or whatever that the windows updated the window when shut down to be in a logoff + hybrination kind of state which wouldn't let the uptime update.
