Killer Network Driver
{BAĞLANTI SİLİNDİ}http://us.msi.com/support/mb/Z87-G45-GAMING.html#down-driver&Win7 64
I saw these but was unsure, thank you though.
On-Board SATA AHCI/RAID Drivers where also on that page, do you recommend me installing them too?
Or did u never go through and download + Install the drivers from MSI for your model of motherboard? You need them all.
install what you need
MSI provides two "Killer LAN Drivers"
one that is just the bare OEM driver
and one with Driver + Software Suite
Yep, I downloaded the OEM Driver but no installer came with it, so I go to manually install it but the NIC isnt there in my network devices, so I install the suite and it appears in my network devices but I cannot change the drivers from the suite to the OEM :(
Is it bulky, or just like less in startup and want it out of there, or what?
More then likely you could just disable that software suite from coming up in starup via MSCONFIG, or another app that allows you to better control what all is in your startup, like CCleaner for example.
I've already used MSCONFIG to take it out of the startup applications, but thats just a quick fix. I just purely don't want it on my computer. Theirs an option for the pure drivers but MSI/Qualcomm make it pretty much impossible to use them!
What I did to install the "Killer Network Driver (driver only)" from was MSI website:
1. Download the "Killer Network Driver (driver only)" (and to be safe also download driver+software incase this do not work)
2. Unzip the zip-file to desktop. (for me it was the ke2200w7-x64 folder)
3. Uninstall Killer LAN Software from Control Panel -> Uninstall a program
4. Go back to control panel and find Device Manager
5. An there you will have list of all devices on your computer. Go to the "Network adapters" folder and right click on the yellow marked (exclaimation mark) device (hopefully) the right device. Then select "Update Driver Software..."
6. Choose to browse for your driver
7. Find it on your desktop -> ke2200w7-x64 and click OK
8. It hopefully will install your NIC driver.
If done incorrectly you probably going to not be able to download drivers from internet, because of no functional ethernet driver. Just a BIG caution!
I do not know if this works for G45 model, so plz be carefull.
