Charging Dock

Hey so i have a Samsung a36 and i want to know if its SAFE to use this to charge the phone.

why wouldnt it be?

it a dock for the specific device, but its usb port should follow the usb charge protocols for fc/qc which the device will use the usb data lines to ask for higher voltage if the charger is capable

Your Samsung handles the charging, just because the charger is rated for 75W, the phone will tell the charger how much wattage to send.

ok thanks, because i noticed it takes a few extra seconds before it starts to charge the phone. instead of taking 1 second it might take 5-6 than starts to charge that normal?

probably, the dock may not have the same brains as a normal charger, and phone may be doing other communication before trying to charge

in the phone settings, turn off the usb communication and set it to charge only, see if that speeds it up

oh i noticed sometimes it "auto backups" my phone. with the cloud maybe thats it?
