MacBook Pro M4

Hey all.

Out of boredom I decided to order up and try out subject laptop. I decided to keep price relatively low and just opted for 14” w/ 12 core M4 Pro cpu, 16 core GPU, 24GB ram, and 512GB SSD.

Should receive it by this weekend.

Curious if anyone else has similar and have thrown any games on it. I have many gaming Windows-based laptops/desktops and don’t really plan on the MBP for replacing those with games. Just want an idea of other’s experiences.

Ive got the base model M1 air and even that is pretty impressive considering the spec (8/7 and 8gb ram) and no fans. I can just about get my daily fix of World of Tanks at 60fps when away from home!

Choice of native games is the biggest problem.

I haven’t tried gaming on Asahi yet but apparently it’s getting better all the time.
