PS5 Controller Better For Linux Gaming Now VS Xbox Series S Controller?
My Xbox Series S controller had been working for months now on Ubuntu but for whatever reason now even though the power is on it just decided it doesn't want to connect via bluetooth properly this morning. Just... out of the blue decides it doesn't want to connect.

But... then when looking up info on controllers on Linux, I saw this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSgbcJrnZzE

Sony adding some basic compatibility for PS5 controllers on Linux to the Linux kernel.

Even on a good day when my Xbox controller has been working on Linux, I have found some little annoyances about it. Like, for example, I have to connect it to some Windows laptop periodically for firmware updates... and I can't do this on Ubuntu/Linux.

Does this mean the PS5 controller is better for Linux now than the Xbox Series S controller since it has official compatibility (if not support) from Sony for Linux?

Or if you think there's a better controller I should consider let me know in the comments....

Sony has released an official Linux driver for its PlayStation 5 DualSense controller. [...]
The new Linux kernel driver fully supports Sony's PlayStation 5 DualSense controller's key functionality, including the gamepad, touchpad, and motion-sensing both in USB and Bluetooth modes, reports Phoronix. At the same time, the driver doesn't yet support the advanced capabilities of the new controller, such as Adaptive Triggers and the VCM-based haptics.
