Intel UHD 630 Performance Inquiry
Hi. I’m wondering whether the Intel UHD630 would be able to run a few games at 720p 60FPS, namely:
1. Dishonored
2. BioShock 2
3. Half-Life 2
4. Prey (2006)
5. DUSK

Benchmarks on YouTube exist, but only for modern games, which it stands little chance against. I’m not looking for alternatives, thanks.

Yes for older games like those shouldn't even be an issue even @ 1080p

Get most updated chipset and graphics drivers from Intel though:

basic rule with intel igpus, is to look at games around 10+ years older than the cpu it is on

Desktop

If its a desktop it can be upgraded very cheaply. Many old gpus on ebay that would crush a uhd 630.

Although you should stick to lower end cards because your psu is probably too weak and probably lacks a gpu power connector.

Something like gtx 1050 would be ok perhaps, or something from amd.

Good to know!
those old games? sure. it should even be able to handle somwhat newer games, like final fantasy 10 and 9 possibly and crisis core final fantasy 7 and tales of arise. older final fantasy games and tales game too. final fantasy 12 and 13 might be too demanding however.

I’m sure it’ll melt!
it will not melt. if you use too high settings however, your performance goes down.
