Yes so you use the required amount of 6+2 cables

I dont see the problem.
Your PSU has 4x 6+2 pin connections

Thanks, just to double check, would it be ok using a single cable for the 6+2 I have the two piece that plugs into the PSU
If it needs two plugause two cables.

Not good to only use 1x cable for the 12V adapter

Use 2 cables if you have 2
My EVGA PSU has GPU cables that are 6+2 that connect to the 12V adapter that attaches to my 4070Ti Super with no issues.

One thing to make make sure you do is use two separate GPU cables from the PSU to the 12V adapter. Some GPU cables are daisy chained, a sort of 2-in-1 connection and that type of cable should be avoided as it may not deliver enough power to the GPU.

that could be dangerous if the gpu needs more than 300w

Then your PSU needs to be changed

Edit: that's what I had "included" with my new 5070 GPU and it works flawlessly

no, if the gpu needs more than 300w it needs more than 2x 6+2 pci-e power cables connected to it
each pci-e 6+2 is only good upto 150w

I think what he is asking is it OK to use 2x 6+2 from one cable. As many of those PSU have 2x cables to provide a total of 4x 6+2. Best bet would be to plug in 1x connection from both cables so it's not running off 1x cable.

Yeah fine 5070 is only a 250W GPU.

No do like he's done above.

the daisy chained is always kind of iffy
since the psu has 2 cables, use one from each
