Looks good to me.

Not ripped off.. Maybe a little on the expensive side.

Bit expensive but specs are decent enough. Could have probably got RTX 5070 Ti for this money if building yourself. Doesn`t seem to be any weak points or obvious traps.

Think its fair, factor in the case etc and the price is good imo. Builder has to make something for his time and effort.

Thank you all!

Given the gpu shortages and the usual prebuilt mark up, id say it's a fair price, sure you could get the spec cheaper building yourself under normal availability, but it's not bad

Given your age methinks your friend is in the "build it yourself" camp, and any retail markup is a ripoff.

Eventually he'll be experienced enough to accept that most people ain't gonna build their own, and that means paying extra for a pre-built. Granted when you don't know anything it makes shopping around for the best deal tougher, but overpaying a little bit isn't really being ripped off either.

Some people underestimate the value of not having to think about it too much or do a lot of of work.

Yeah he def is, plus he just always thinks he knows better than everyone else. Kind of annoying loll I appreciate the input.

Yeah just like I thought, could have built it with RTX 5070 Ti for this money if doing it yourself:

I'll keep this in mind for my next one. I've always wanted to build one but it's kinda scary.

Out of curiosity, how much of a difference between the 5070 and 5070 ti?

The going rate for a Prebuild of Premium parts with that CPU + GPU + RAM + 2TB NVME SSD is going for around 2600-2800 $USD as we speak. So not bad at all really for 2200

Interesting, more than I was expecting. Also, should I get a 4k monitor or is there something better for my build?

I have a 1080p right now, that my brother gave me. It's not super old or anything.

Better to get a decent 1440p 165-240Hz Monitor with both HDMI and DP. Use DP for the high refresh rate.

If you want 4K just use a TV panel
