Index controller Thumbstick touchsensor Predetermined breaking point

Greetings everyone,

I just wanted to mention here that the index controllers that i had were breaking because of the same reason, if you encounter the same issue that the touch function of the thumbstick is not working u probably have the same issue

The issue is that the circuittrace inside the controller is bend in such a tight angle in some controllers that after a while (for me 3 times in 3 years) the trace is being separated.

Sadly the valve support cant give me another controller under warranty, in my opinion this is a manufacturer fault and could be prevented.

Maybe someone higher in the valve development team will do something about it because in my opinion that problem shouldnt be something valve stands for
