Theres a difference between beating "a 240mm AIO" and beating "240mm AIO".
yeah, sure crappy water coolers exist but it literally tops out at 265 TDP while even 240mm AIOs hit 280w to 300w.
The hotter the PC part the more of a difference you'll see using water over air.
All that being said I use top end parts so I use water cooling.
Thats not really a counter to anything I said just how you feel about it......
They arent prone to leaks nor does custom loops have to be expensive.
Not sure what makes people think a loop that can handle dozens of PSI magically decides to leak.
If you don't understand something that has zero bearing on the reality surrounded said thing.
You're not making any sense. you'll literally saying they're prone to leaks which suggest spontaneously leaking.
Then you claim they check for leaks which is done to insure it was assembled correctly which is a human error issue.
By your logic air coolers are prone to over heating your CPU because its possible to attach them incorrectly.
Do you see how ridiculous that is?
Even experienced builders check them for leaks because they are prone to leaks. Even a skilled builder can not guarantee that their build will not be leak free on the first try, so they have to test them.
Bro you seem to not understand English.
Saying "they are prone to leaks" literally implies they can leaks spontaneously. Thats what that means in the English language.
What you are describing as your definition is literally "they can leak if not assembled correctly".
That meaning is completely different to "prone to leaking".
And also you seem to not understand what no true scotsman means.
I'm not modifying your claim, I'm pointing out the meaning of the words you typed and what it is suggesting.
Someone building a loop incorrectly IS NOT cooling loops being prone to leaking because if you claim human error makes loops prone to leaking then that applies to ANYTHING a human assembles.
Except you didnt say "Prone." all by itself, you said "Prone to leak". Thats a full idea not a word.
I'm not here you teach you 3rd grade English.
You said something incorrect and I called you out, if you don't understand thats not my problem.
I've already explained it in the simplest terms and it flew right over your head.
Sort yourselves out :)
