amd adrenalin?
I have a nvidia card and a AMD cpu and the nvidia driver installed but also the amd adrenalin software installed too. Will this conflict with nvidia driver or is the amd adrenalin software needed for the CPU on board graphics if using that?.

If you are using the iGPU for something then don't uninstall it.

It is possible but you can set from both softwares and Windows to start applications on dedicated GPU by default. Or you can manually start the program with the one of both GPU.

it depends on how your system is wired. if you have a laptop, you need nvidia optimus to broadcast through your amd gpu. if you turn off your amd gpu then, your nvidia gpu will also fail. i do not however know your specs. you should save your dxdiag data and post it here. you can open the txt document and post the contents here.
there will be no issues.....you can have as many GPU's as you want with no conflicting issues other then maybe tearing or play back slow down when moving windows across the 2 GPU's.....

on a side note remember this about AMD....adrenaline software will be needed for the motherboard even when NOT using the onboard GPU.....installing drivers for the motherboard chipset DEVOID OF GPU drivers will still install adrenaline..... as its used as a shell frame work program for all AMD drivers

good luck happy gaming:possession:

You can run both. You don't need to set anything or disable anything. I've run a dedicated Nvidia gpu and secondary displays off the AMD iGPU with both of their apps installed for years and it's never been an issue.
If you have Ryzen CPU then you just need Ryzen AM4/AM5 Chipset Driver is all. Don't need to install the AMD GPU if that CPU has one onboard. Overall no the Radeon software won't cause a problem. You can designate which game use which GPU if needed in Graphics Settings in WinOS
