easiest to install 280mm lcd watercooler for am4?
not listing my specs here because some of you will see "watercooler" and instantly go "just get an aircooler!!!"

anyway, i have cooling problems with my cpu and my case fans are dying as i have cheap fans and a stock cooler that wont properly cool + i'm about to get back into vr and other demanding stuff that overheats the hell out of my cpu

What Motherboard and Case do you have though? These are important for mounting and available space.

Also replace the Case Fans too.

b450m h and a thermaltake s100 tg

was going to use the aio to replace the fans as the fan thats blowing directly at the gpu isn't breaking

the board has no vrm heatsinks, the stock style cooler will be the best for it

even if its the biostar b450mh, same story

If you're using a cheap-o B450M board then it must also be a low budget CPU. With that in mind what's the point of an AIO LC
the reality is simple......you have to go to a 360mm radiator to beat the top 5 tower coolers on the market......you will have to spend more then 80 dollars to match temps a 35 dollar tower cooler would give you.....

how are the cpu temps with the stock cooler, if its not hitting 90c, the board is limiting it

90c or more

planning to upgrade and i might as well get the aio out of the way while getting rid of the annoying noises fan coolers make over time

and like i said, i need an aio for vr stuff + lcd looks cool

Yes we know you have a Ryzen 5 3600 or 5600. Whatever it is, I see you have the 90°C issue from at least a whole year if not two.

Just buy the best possible 420mm AIO water cooler (if your case even can fit it in the first place?. Maybe add a chiller or something.

If you are using the stock cooler that came with the cpu and are at those temps, I'm betting money right now, that you forgot to remove the plastic covering the cold plate.

Im giving my 13900k to my dad and am just using a thermalright peerless assassin, also used one for benching my 14900ks, you font need a 280mm lcd aio for ANYTHING that shipped with a cooler.

As has been pointed out, you went so cheap on your mobo the vrm's kind of need an air cooler to get some cooling for them and fix your case fans.

i did remove the plastic cover, just a pain in the butt to take off the heatsink every 3 ish months to remove the carpets worth of dust in my heatsink (no idea how the dust gets there when its on my desk in a clean environment)

Then it's not clamping properly.

Eitgerway, you will still have dust issues with an aio.

I'd suggest buying a new case with dust filters and as I'm guessing it's a mid tier older cpu, a thermalright peerless assassin plus filling the fan spots up,

If you have more intake than exhaust on filtered fans it will tend to keep more dust out, on the contuary, more exhaust t than intake tends to pull air and dust in through every single crack and gap, but will cool slightly better.

im with him....i have a thermalright frost tower that is really the assassin with better fans.....this cooler keeps a 5700x under 70c with boost clocks hitting 4.65ghz ALL CORE in a none AC controlled garage in Florida.....its 95F in the middle of the summer and my CPU will not come off its boost clocks and never goes over 70C......

just buy this

Grab a $35 Peerless Assassin and you should be good. No need to waste 2-3x the amount of money replacing other fans or the case, or getting an expensive AIO.
