Adblocks for Youtube
Hey all,

My Opera adblock for Youtube stopped working recently - I get message that I must disable it. And no matter which adblock I install it's always the same. I am starting to think about migration to another browser after many years on Opera. Does anyone know how to fix issue on Opera or can tell on which browser it will be better?

Because Opera is Chromium.
Blame Chrome for that.

Firefox or Brave.
I know. Modern browsers sucks.

I'm using Firefox with uBlock Origin and I get no Ads on Youtube, besides the Ads the creator has put in the video themselves

Stick to Firefox or Librewolf or IceCat.
firefox + ublock origin + sponsor block = awrsome combo.

zero ads on anything and majority or all sponsors blocked on videos.

only area I have issue blocking ads, is on sites like twitch for some reason, haven't found another working ad blocker for twitch yet, but I haven't actually looked very hard either, as I haven't used it in awhile.

I actually paid for YouTube premium and cancelled my Spotify subscription after nearly 20 years as my solution.

That doesn't matter. They do not rely on the extensions API. They do it themselves.
The downside is that you cannot choose something different.

And I don't like Firefox anymore. I'm still browser hopping to see what works for me. Brave kinda works, but it has its negative sides as well. Still better than Firefox IMO. But I will try other browsers as well.

i went with a paid service one time fee for life. adguard. it works and is a swiss army knife
Contact me via Steam Chat or Telegram and I will tell you how to bypass the YouTube adblocker pop-up, free of charge.

I'm not going to post it here as Valve may not like it.

I believe there are quite a few people who couldn't care less, me included.
