RX 9070 (non-XT) @ 1080p?
Any deets on how the 9070 runs at 1080p?

I am thinking about going from a 4060ti(16gb) to the 9070 non-xt. I switched over to Linux and think AMD will make life easier, but I am curious about the performance at 1080p.

Details about these cards seem super sparse considering that they are supposed to release in a few days.

Performance at that resolution should be good.

We'll start seeing a lot of real benchmarks soon.
With amd need to look at image quality and ray tracing. Image quality varies between amd, intel and nvidia.Amd image quality might get a boost like Nvidia did with the transformer model. It's not just a question of fps.

Why bother switching just for 1080p stuff waste of money

If I want to play at a higher resolution, I have a 55 inch 4K TV. Just prefer playing in my 27 inch 165 Hz GSync/FreeSync (yes, it does both) monitor.

AMD just plays nicer with Linux as well.

Maybe think. I'll give you a chance. Did you get it yet?

PERFORMANCE! Thats rights, faster cards perform better than slower ones!

But thats not all! Lower resolutions yield higher FPS than higher resolutions, Isn't that crazy!?!?!

Ever care about FPS more than resolution and wish you could get those higher frames while maxing your game out? Now you can by PLAYING AT A LOWER RESOLUTION!

Crazy I know! Even INSANE! WHAT A CONCEPT!!
first look if you are gpu limited or cpu limited because if you are cpu limited you gain zero extra fps going with the 9070
Yes please share full specs so we can see things like CPU, Motherboard, PSU and OS.

RX 9xxx series requires full UEFI Motherboard BIOS

nah mate, the dream is dead, scalpers did their thing
Wasn't many gpus available anyways. Were way less 5070 gpus also. 5070 runs out of vram on some titles at 1440p with some settings or over time.
