Go to Win Settings < Accessibility < Keyboard
Toggle the option "Use the Print screen key to open screen capture" off if you want to revert to the old full-screen capture functionality.
also shift+win+s is way better in every regard and is one of the only ways you can use the snipping tool within a game unless like prnt screen they changed it
it allows you to select a portion of the screenshot to save instead of the whole screenshot you can still do that but then you just drag from a corner to the bottom corner opposite
