Huge problem with streaming. You are my last hope.
Hello guys. I just bought new PC -
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor 4.20 GHz
- 32GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16GB
I've tried like almost every Youtube or TikTok video to fix my problem. I see many streamers with worse computers that stream 1080p 60fps and it looks just great, but when i open OBS or TikTok live studio and start my stream, its just looks bad. Its freezing, it starts to blurr etc. Im playing Marvel Rivals, but in games like Valorant i see same problem.

I've done my net test and its 950MB Download and 937.19 Upload, but when i did test in TikTok Studio it says my upload is 127MB. Anyone has any clue what should i do to fix this? Im really sad, i collected money for new computer so long and now i feel like i cant do anything.

what service are you trying to stream to?
twitch, yt or something else?

in obs settings, set upload speed to 8000k/s for a good quality 1080p stream
or like 6000k/s if you want it scaled down to like 900p

look up forums for where you want to stream to

I used like 6k and 8k bitrate to stream on twitch. Everyone says 6k is like highest on twitch, but you can also make it to 8k. I watched like all videos, im wondering if my pc isnt good enough or is there any problem that i cant see :(

numbers conflict.....your net test numbers should be mega BITS and the titktok numbers sound like they were megaBYTES.....im saying this as 950ish megaBITS turns in to about 115 to 125 megaBYTES

also there are ton of things to get right on a new PC to get it running....its going to take you a month or 2 to find everything and how to fix it or get around it.....

start with the normal things....make sure BIOS is up to date....up date all drivers.....tweak windows to get rid of over head and bloat.....set GPU to max performance in NgreedyA control panel as well as the power plan in windows itself....turn off HDMI audio in device manager if not in use as the generic sound chip IN EVERY HDMI PORT will cause stutters waiting on a return signal that never comes when not in use (this goes for AMD intel and NgreedyA GPUs as its a problem with standard HDMI ports not any of the makers)....run Ccleaner and Glary's to get rid of all directory conflicts after all updates have been run.....

then test again.....

but is it more like internet problem or software?

It's usually how the stream is configured, but networking can play a role if you have a dirt cheap internet plan or get service from an ISP that's known for being garbage

also a cheap router or incorrect lan/mobo/chipset drivers can cause problems too

turn up your bitrate and make sure you have enough upload bandwidth
